Annabel Lee The first time I read the poetry Annabel Lee, I thought it was a really dressed to kill(p) metrical composition. But, when I read it for the second time, I last that it was anything only nice. It was very dark and disturbing, and even had hints of necrophilia (yuuck). The speaker said that he ju st be by the aspect of his dead girlfriend in her tomb at night, and he said nothing about exhausting to afford sex with her. I mean, there is no index of internal desire anywhere, and the poem is very un-sexy in tone. I could memorize he is sad and angry, but I dont bring forward that he lusts for his dead wife.
